I’m Anne Maya. I love learning languages, smoothie bowls, swing music and seeing new places.

In high school, I found an old film camera while going through stuff that my older siblings left behind when they moved out. The first roll was a series of severely overexposed or underexposed photos. I’ve come a long way since then, having been trained in digital photography, and working for a company as well as individually. I love to photograph food, and recently published a cookbook! My other favorite subject to shoot is landscapes, highlighting the natural beauty of a particular place to make you feel as if it is a world you could easily step into.

I’ve been a Texas lady all my life, moving between College Station, Waco, Tyler and landing back in Houston. When I’m not shooting, you can find me listening to music while I cook, on a quick run or sipping a sweet drink in my hammock.
